I made this delicious meal the other day at work and it was a great hit with both my clients and my coworkers.
It’s a simple rice dish, with onions, garlic and carrots. I added 1/2 cup of frozen corn and 1/2 cup of frozen peas, just to add a bit more to it. As well, I baked some chicken breasts that I had sprinkled some tumeric on, shredded them and added them after the rice was finished cooking for some protien. Amazing!
One thing I can’t stress enough is adding the salt that the original recipe calls for. I only sprinkled in a little as I was using chicken broth (all I had at work) and I thought the broth would be saltier. Definitely needed to add it at the end. I also sprinkled on some pepper and it was delicious.
